Hi, ive got some questions about the reverb...its definetly essencial to have the sounds reverbed, so they will me more spaced out, but sometimes it quite makes my drums look like they are out of time...and i have to put a bit to the left to compensate...how do you reverb your drums?
what about the sinths?
anyone using reverb for the whole track, in the master? |

Percussions ( not always ofcourse ) like to be in small rooms especially the hats and hand played such as bongos and congas.
There is possibility of applying large verbs on 2 / 4 snares, it is more to be used in other genres than trance.. in trance, because of the rather high bpm and density of many layers, large verbs on percussion sometime make the track little less potent on the floor. ( me, actually I like it hehe )
Reverbs on the whole master not really work at least not with dancefloor music ( I didn't encounter this at all actually )
There are a lot of various synth sounds so the reverbs applyed are different and can be grand as cathedral or small as a latrine,
Anyway remember to leave some of your track dry since it makes it in FOCUS
