could you explain what is bad about IR ?
man thats a great tool!!with space designer you can even make your own IR if you want..more unique reverb is not out there...and you can grab some lexicon 960l IR in 24bit rsolution..don`t understand whats the bad part on it......

i never said ir's is bad, i love ir's but its just that they usually don't have as many parameters to tweak as the algo ones (csr, sonnox etc.) |

ok..sorry..then i misunderstood you...but the short dialogue between you and madscientist had a kind of negative direction about IR...but i cannot see any...even the amount of parameters is quite ok i think..don`t know sonnox but csr..and altiverb and SIR and even Space designer..think they are all good..but the special about IR is just that you could make your own...like in the floor of your house or something really special reverb place..so both got its benefits..
i`m actualy not that big in managing realy good reverb mixes..this is kind of higher stage level if you do it right..so..i`m satisfied with most of the reverbplugs..for now..

i only have free reverbs - Ambience (which is seriously good), the PSP EasyVerb and SpringVerb, and DaSAmple's Glaceverb. other than that i sometimes use my Marshall guitar amp's reverb (it's a spring, sounds great).
i really want to invest in a proper quality reverb... but not sure whether to buy a lexicon or something or a nice plugin! |

i also wnted to use the Easyverb from PSP but when i load it into a chanelle and give the release/time a high value then a noise starts, whats really annoing cause it can't use it then nymore, do you noticed something like that?? |

UAD Plate 140 is my best option, it simply works for everything.
Arts Acoustic is very useful too and Altiverb is another great one.
