ok guys , im using different reverb and delay setting for each channel and usin them as send effects ... but fuckin taking 2 much of cpu ...
now boucing them to wav and then switching the plugin off is the only option available to me ??
im using a lot of offline processing these days ... THANKS TO SURRENDER
so is there no way i could offline process the sends ??
hope im talking sense .. lol ! |

I didn´t get your point GTN...
Are u saying that u are using one send f´x for each track? If so, I think u are not using one the benefit of send fx´s, wich imho is to save cpu using the same fx´s for many tracks...
Try to use like 3 reverbs and 2 delays as send, and mix them on the tracks. This config for sure doesn´t eat a lot of cpu performance.

If you want to bounce every track's send effect channel then it's possible - it's just a big big fuss. Solo the send effect and bounce.
If you sent 2 instruments to an effect, then you can either bounce each one seperately all through the track, or just bounce everything the effect outputs.
The original benefit of send effects were that you just couldn't buy so many hardware delay effects - so you were using one for many instruments.
I guess it is a benefit for the CPU now.

but no offline processin mode for bouncing sends .. ?

sends have nothing to do with offline process. isn't Trip's advice good enough ?
if you want to offline process the audio with the same fx that you have in your send
you can copy the settings. |
