easily the biggest revelation for me this year was Ultimae records.... all their releases i've heard (solar fields, aes dana, carbon based lifeforms) seem pretty sublime, solar fields especially.

i always vaguely knew this stuff existed somewhere but until 2003 i never got my hands on it... now i finally have.... WOW.

OTT comes pretty close it must be said, but i already dug his stuff since bb1 / bb2 so it wasnt really 'out of the blue' to me that the album was good.

etnoscope deserve a mention too, that really blew me away.           http://www.dartrecordings.co.uk/

Journeys not your thing then? I don't think a single project will ever be a revelation for me...

The biggest relevation veleration for me this year has to be the reincarnation of Dragonfly - spot on new sound direction, a hint at the old (MWNN), excellent DJs.... and the return of Laughing Buddha!

Just got the cd a few months ago...=)

Revelations.. Hahaha!!!

Probably realising that there's a lot of really, and I mean REALLY, good psytrance out there (Psysex, Son Kite, Neuromotor, Fungus Funk and Hux Flux to name but a few who've pushed my buttons this year) that's totally at the cutting edge, after having written it off as 'yoghurt-weaver techno' for such a long time! That was a revelation for sure!
