Hey all, just got to my computer and sat down for a second for a quick pause. It sounds like everyone had as great a time as I had. Thanks to Bioluminesence for the place to crash and the Touch Samadhi crew for the good times. The best thing about this show for me is all the great conversations I have and all the family I meet. And Artifakt, no one better. He is psychedelic, symphonic, funky, and bullet proof. His sound is as unique as it gets. All the wierd distortion between songs like it was some kind of signal from outerspace that was being transmitted into the speakers. Unreal. And to all the acts who graced us with their music. Thank you. What a show!

Great party and a great time!

I had such fun times on the dancefloor and off. Thanks to everybody for all the hard work and to all the musicians who came and shared their music!

*hugs* to all the friends whom I haven't seen in a while! Good Times!

-To sum it up -

Pure love magic at its best

This gathering was something special...The love that each who contributed to this event manifested in gathering some of the warmest, most loving, electric energies and people I have ever seen in "one" place.

This event managed to transcend on so many levels, one can't begin to explain...

The music was so perfect it felt cosmically orchestrated, not a beat out of time or place in the palace. Richdokta said it, at points during ALL performances, there was some seriously wonderful intergalactic communication and sonic healing going down.

The Deco was divine, really set the character and tone of the experience. It was possibly some of the best deco (artwork and design/layout wise) that I have ever had the pleasure to feast my eyes on, at least in how perfectly fitting and appropriate it all was. The setup of the trancefloor/spaceship was sublime in its layout, and created a comforting and welcoming womb for us to lift off in.

The sound was as crisp clean and perfectly balanced as it gets.

The people, - man, woman, child - thank you all for being so beautiful and unique! Each and every one of you totally rocks and it shows! Thank you all for helping create such a wonderful place to be and to behold.

There was not a single moment during my time there that I did not feel absolute gratitude for being at such a special place on earth at a such a special time.

Nothing but love and praise for this event and everyone who contributed in making and being it.

!!!BRAVO!!!

!!!Thank you!!!

hehehe, we all look so goofy frozen mid-dance. Emily's right, we're like a bunch of muppets.

Love it.

its finally time for me to put in my .02$
honestly i have a lot more than that to put in but ill try to be brief.

this being my last big gathering before i move to portland, i put in every ounce of my heart and soul over the past year...
it was deeply satisfying and i had a great sense of ownership over having had a hand in the creation of the masterpiece that was Reunion... we couldnt/wouldnt have done it without YOU.

i worked for months on communications and detail-oriented process... those of you that make parties happen on this level are the ones who might understand such an endeavour.

i was proud of others in this community for stepping up and filling in the necessary gaps to make this amazing event a reality... KRI- for almost not helping and in reality being the keystone you know you are, serena (my love - great flyer!, and thanks for the deco help), fuzzikitten (unending and supreme greatness), devotee (always incredible to see your visions bro), medisin thanks for feeding your cats in advance this year, nicole, scott, shanti, jennifer, melanie!, G-O, amos and susannah, KT and Gor, George and Allana, jerms and jen, all the gate workers, parking staff, it goes on and on...
-shad and esiris for dropping the knowledge at thier lectures yet again... always hear such great things about you guys, but i always find myself busy during those times, owell, someday. -sunil and vladi you guys showed me the way...-raffi- good to see you so often this summer...
im sorry i cant keep listing people! you are all great...

what the gathering taught me was mainly not to overextend myself and to take things more slowly...
there is truly only so much one human can do in a day...
deco and djing and vending and helping to run the event and trying to get food and sleep just seemed to be a bit much for me to handle at times, sorry if i was short with anyone, i just wish there was an extra day or two to really sink in and absorb the setting we created. sometimes the fact that i only see all my friends at these events is a challenge ... i wish there were more hours in the day.

musically mainstage wise-
-alex bastard played a great warm up set to get the soundsystem running with the freshy techyness
-both iowans - aktif and collision- held down thier respective slots with mad energy!
- sleep was long overdue and i missed but heard great response about KT, OSO, derby, karmakanic and egbot.... thanks everyone.
saturday night we had a great liveset by -bioluminescense from greenville SC those guys have obviously been hard at work and provided a large ramp for the night ahead...
- coral did exactly what i had hoped she would: slam out groovyness and bring some powerful female energy to the dancefloor before the onslaught of the rest of Saturday nights heavy lineup...
- i was blown away by primordial ooze and dragons live sets, unfortunately though i had to go tent-ways and missed much of artifakt's set at least we got to spend some time together afterwards...what a class individual, tops.
-i reemerged for wichdokta who was completely pwning the dancefloor and then later shapestatic had thier signature grip on everyone with mad finesse!

-infinitesimal had a serious mind-f*ck going on friday night, great mix of her own material and like minded madness- to open for
-our medimonks set, which was fraught with technical complications, but at least we got to jam our tunes all in a row for the first time in asheville , since Gemini festival was thier debut! thanks for the great feedback everyone! my dj set with medisin to end the festival was epic in its scope and we had just a serious blast! i was both fighting and loving the tears at the end.

i cant give 'nuff respect to those who held down the chill area with such talent and skill, special mention goes out to:
-mike from aligning minds who went above and beyond by playing 2 sets to keep the sound going;
-KRI who played the sounds of angels falling through a massive chaos engine;wtf!
-opensourcecode holding down the serious dub vibration in the afternoon, truly a grand spliffing soundtrack
- husband and wife team logos and cre8trix dominated sunday morning for several hours taking care of the spots and keeping the genny going... only heard good vibes from these 2.
xist - a longtime friend and asheville scene stalwart played a really good drum and bass/ downtempo set for her own birthday...
-orbicles had a great set on saturday, as did -icycoil with a great afternoon set to follow my madness (chillout ?!)and
-iduna who always brings a great energy to her sets...

to that end i would like to mention that this was likely the event with the largest number of female performers we have hosted! go girls!

-transform venus did a great totem animal ritual with all forces lining up for one powerful totem-moment resulting in great cheer and feelings of awesomeness!

i missed the unifire fire show and the tribalesque bellydancers but i heard they were on point as expected! more girl power!

thanks to everyone for driving so far and giving us such great support! its truly inspiring to have had a part in making this time a reality and to have experienced all this wonderfullness with everyone!
one of those times where i wish i had clones to help me take it all in!

thanks for deerfields for being such great hosts, they love our tribe and im sure there will be much more dancing there over the years to come...

this will serve as one of the last endeavours i will have a part in creating in asheville. ive lived here 9 years and the trance scene has been one of community and growth, exploration and joy. overwhelming to be leaving but i know that theres more to be found out there, i hope you are all inspired to come check out the dreams being casted on the west coast

pics will come soon...

Asheville and Reunion were wonderful!

A HUGE thank you to you Christian! I don't know how you did it! How many dj sets did you play on top of everything else you did? The stretch fabric in the chillout looked great, and I know you stayed up all night to do it!

It is tough when you throw an event to try and find some time for yourself to relax and have fun, that support system is what makes it happen. You have a great crew in Asheville!

Thank you so much for having us down and good luck with everything in Portland! I am looking forward to hanging out with you guys on the West Coast:)

Thank you Kri and Don for the fun times and the rides to airport!

Much love from Philly!
