i mistakenly deleted an entire folder with a full cubase project inside it... the thing is for some reason it was either too big or i dont know what, but it aint in my recycle bin, it just really erased...

i am going through the classic 5 stage process:
1. denial - "no way... cause it didnt just happen...."
2. anger - "f*cking a! this mutherf*ckin sux!"
3. fear - "oh no what will happen now, whats next? what can i do?"
4. bargaining - (which is where im at) - "you guys have to help!@!@!@! please "
5. acceptance - "well, we all make mistakes...lets move on."

please please let me stay in stage 4 and find a solution.... i really dont wanna get to stage 5, it was a good one to let it go like that.

OK relax. There are ways to save your stuff.

1. DO NOT save anything on that drive from now on.

2. Which HD has the deleted files?

If it's on the OS HD, don't quit the traditional way, but just pull the plugs out of the wall. (windows saves a lot of stuff on HD before quit). In this case you have to remove your OS HD from your computer and bring to on other computer.

If it's on other drive, then again, do not save anything on it.

3. Get GetDataBack from here http://www.runtime.org/downloads.htm

If you use XP or W2k then choose the NTFS version. You also have to visit astalavista.box.sk

4. Install this software to an other computer with your drive attached to that computer and use the software.

5. It should work
