Restore "stored" SX3 Presets?

So my OS is getting clogged up with crap again (damn internets) and I'm thinking of doing my usual OS wipe/spring cleaning.

Anyone know where SX3 stores the list of "stored" presets that it saves when you click "store"?

I've looked in C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase SX 3\presets, and there's a bunch of stuff there, but it all looks really generic and doesn't appear to hold any information about the stuff I've stored.

Please remember I'm not asking about what happens to the stand-alone preset files generated by "Save Bank" or "Save Instrument", rather where or how SX stores what I'm assuming is a big file generated by the "Store Preset" command that keeps a drop-down list visible.

Hope this helps...

cubase or nuendo users:

stored files are located

C:\Documents and Settings\Aiyro\Application Data\Steinberg\Nuendo 3\Presets

where "aiyro" is your user name.

just copy these presets onto a backup cd or another partition, wipe and re-istall OS (& cubase or nuendo) and copy presets back into folder.

Done.

Ah, of course, I always forget about the hidden "application data" folder... thanks, I'll check it out tonight...
