Our journey began last year, when we first conceived the notion of creating this perfect gathering. As we all know, there's always ups and downs in this journey, and even though the result may not have been perfect - we made sure it was as close to perfect as we could make it. PhasePhour has its roots in one of the most northern peaks of the planet: Norway. The project is in the experienced hands of John Robert Egeland, Eldar von Essen and Christer Andersson. The sound of PhasePhour is not easily defined. Hypnocoustics is a partnership project between Joe Studt and Benjamin Wood, two producers from London who have been making electronic music since 2004. Joe & Ben share a diverse musical background; ranging from psychedelic rock/stoner bands and Djing, through to modern music production and classical training.
Over the last two years, Hypnocoustics have been developing a deep and immersive morning sound packed with hypnotic soundscapes, mesmeric textures, driving percussion and intricate musical arrangements. Performing using a combination of synth work, Ableton performance and sample manipulation, the Hypnocoustics live act is being regularly developed and road tested at some of the best parties on the circuit.
Hypnocoustics’ first EP release, Buddha Nature (March 2011 BMSS Records) topped the Juno Downloads ‘Most Popular Psytrance Album’ category for 2 weeks. The follow up release Ashtamanagla (April 2012 BMSS Records) was considered a milestone release by the scene and with several other released planned for 2013, the project is hoping to see similar successes in the near future. To date, Hypnocoustics have shared line-ups and stages with artists including Man with No Name, Tristan, Liquid Ross, Mr Peculiar, Andromeda, Vibrasphere, Silicon Sound, Tron, Flooting Grooves and many others; as well as rocking dancefloors in the UK, Greece, Germany, Lithuania, Switzerland and France.

Otkun is the project of Othman Sahbi, a moroccan born citizen, now living in the beautiful city of Montreal, Canada. In 2011, he joined the well known Australian elite label Zenon Records. His music range start @ 90bpm with Psychedelic Glitch Hop|Psystep (Enigmatik recs) to Progressive Psy (Zenon) and Forest Psytrance (Parvati, Sonic Chakra recs…).
From a very early age he has been strongly influenced by electronic music. In 2002 he got his first taste of psy and progressive sound and from then on his thirst for electronic music never stopped. His main inspiration comes from artists such as Sensient, Merkaba, Kalya Scinitilla, Encephalopaticys, Sun in Aquarius, Atriohm,Blindox, Hypogeo and many others. His intention is to play music for those who feel that night psychedelic sounds are not just a ‘fashion’ or style of music but a vision, a way of living and a feeling.
In 2006 Otkun begins to produce music after starting a bachelor degree in UQAM University in Sound Synthesis. From 2010 to 2012, Otkun has been releasing tracks in many major labels such as Cosmic Conspiracy recs, Another psyde recs, Glitchy Tonic recs, Uroboros recs.
Besides his audio work, Othman is also the manager and founder of the label Logic Vision recs based in Montreal, Canada. A very dynamic crew, rocking the north american dancefloors with the best International live-acts in the world. Also co founder of the festival Pandemonium, which is becoming one of the biggest Psytribe gathering in North america, merging the West Coast vibe and the Eastern vibe. In 2012, he joined the excellent australian Glitch Dub crew Enig'matik recs as a label representaive and Dj.
He is also a booking agent, representing great artists such as Felix Greenless aka Terrafractyl|Hypnagog (Australia), Andrea Lughni aka DUST|FOAM (Italy), Nicolas HYPOGEO (italy), The Spectre (France) and many other international artists (Check out the Logic Vision website)

Shankar, "beneficent" or "conferring happiness" reflects one of the many names for Shiva, one of the 3 main deities in the Indian pantheon. His dance is the rhythm of the world, the beat of the heart, the cycle of day and night. Boom is a term used by the Indian sadhus to partake in the religious consumption of charras and contemplate the cosmic nature and presence of God.
German based Boom Shankar is Dj for Psychedelic Trance, label manager and A&R at BMSS Records and event promoter within Europe. Having his initiation with the Goa Trance scene in the early nineties and by traveling the globe since then, his sets are a constant mirror of the melting pot situation the Psytrance scene is facing since its origin. Whether he is guiding you through the night or into the morning, the outcome of his sets is always a voyage of energy, deepness and bliss showing a character clearly distinguishable from the common formula: Groovy, deep, hallucinating, adult, hypnotizing and most important: energetic! His flexibility in terms of "styles" is a certain proof that he is trying to capture every vibe of the dancefloor and to transform it into frequencies. Having played at many underground events worldwide, he has developed a full understanding of the flow and the energies of the dance floor in order to reach deeper levels of Trance.
Understanding and living Djing as a mutual form of communication with the dance floor according to "giving and receiving" lead to fantastic feedback on festivals like OZORA (Hungary), Antaris (Germany), The Glade (UK), Full Moon and Half Moon (Thailand), Somuna (Switzerland), Hadra Festival (France), Paradise Festival (Austria), Black Moon (Italy), Transylvania Calling (Romania), Transition (Spain), Ressuraction (Cambodia), Belantara Festival (Malaysia), Earth Garden (Malta) or on parties in Mexico, Nepal, Cambodia, Malaysia or India. Upcoming gigs include performances at Summer Never Ends Festival (Switzerland), SUN Festival (Hungary), Doof Festival (Israel), Transahara (Marocco) or Fusion Festival (Germany). Besides this, Boom Shankar is as well label manager of Europe-based BMSS Records where he released 3 best-seeling compilations so far (Transmissions, Transition and Cosmic Connection). He is working on his fourth one which will probably see the light in summer. In addition, Armin is one of the promoters for Transition Festival in Spain, is part of the SUN Festival crew in Hungary and is working on a new music project together with Soul Kontakt from Malta entitled „Lightsource“ which will have its debut release very very soon.

Artha is the essence of newer made goa trance – blending the ultimate psychedelic touch reminiscent of the mid 1990′s. The music production is top notch, not falling behind any of the modern productions of contemporary mainsteam psychedelic trance.

Tectum is Progressive Trance Project of Kami, from Tehran, Iran currently residing in New York City, USA.
Kami has been producing electronic music since the beginning of 2010. From an early age he was heavily influenced with music, he attracted as a listener to psychedelic music since 2003. After years he totally fascinated of this music and decided to create his own sounds.
His style can be described as punchy kick, deep "n" pumping basslines, exciting and various trippy sounds & squelchy elements! His last ep "Inner Voice" released a couple months ago in German based label "BMSS Records" and after 4 days jumped to #8 chart in Top 100 Beatport Psytrance rankings.

Before he relocated to Mexico, Christer Andersson ran the Norwegian club scene together with some other organizers with his highly successful parties like Limboland, Shuffle Chakra, Inflamabil and Jesus Christer Supersunday. His dedicated work paid itself, and good bookings have taken him more and more abroad to play in countries like Sweden, Romania, Greece, Czech Republic, Germany and extensive tours of Mexico, Brazil and the United States.
He has earned himself the reputation of being a quite versatile Dj, musically the keyword being focus and a lot of hard work. There is always a development in his skills behind the mixer, both technically and musically since his maiden voyage. His style of music is numerous, but one key factor is that it needs to be groovy, timeless and playful psytrance. He produces music as a part of the psytrance and chill-out live act PhasePhour.
Christer Andersson always feels the audience and the atmosphere of the party. When he starts playing behind the mixer, its with one main intention: to make people dance.

Electronic music producer, Fabien is the man behind Illegal Machines. He listened to electronic music since he was teenager and start djing psytrance music in 1997.
Then he decides to go to the next step and start to buy equipment and beginning to write music.
After few years of practicing, he create the project Illegal Machines and in the meantime he joins the band Terraformers (with Stefan from Total Eclipse and David Shanti).
With this band he released his first tracks on T.I.P. records and performed on major events like Soulclipse festival in Turkey and Boom 2006 in Portugal.
Then he decides to focus on his own project Illegal Machines and start releasing on labels like Bom Shanka , Doof ,Free Radical , Peak , Looney Moon and in 2009 a split album (Between Sanity and Madness feat Bombax) on Free Radical Records.
He joins the force of Bom Shanka Music and started side projects “Illegal Sensations” with the Russian legend Parasense and “Big Scary Monsters” with the full having it duo Psymmetrix.
With over 30 releases with all his different projects and collaborations, and playing all over the globe (Boom 2012, Europe, South Africa, Brazil, Costa Rica, Japan, Australia, Israel etc...) I believe the energy that makes all of us is a combination of the influences we have from what we listen too, the images we see, the things we eat and what we let ourselves believe. My music trip started before I can remember my own thoughts, now most of my day is filled with understanding sound. Music has been my main focus and dedication for the past 14 years but yet I find I'm growing to love it more every day I Listen/Mix or Produce a new track. My Goal today is to provide as much good music possible, invite our world to travel through unforgettable places and expose new sound-waves to everyone willing to let go, enjoy and be the unimaginable. This musical journey started in the Azores Islands where I got a lot of ideas for what I do now but moving around and learning about our globe has been my fuel and inspiration for making it one more step.
Growing up listening to albums from the past 50 years made me appreciate the Goa Trance genre, its complexity, the things it can do with you and the things you can do with it. I was hooked the first time I was exposed to it. This frame of thought that promotes Incredible Complex Music, Social Diversity, Acceptance, Harmony, Ours and Natures Well Being, Love and Unity is not something I could ever turn my back too. Goa/Psychedelic trance for me and many, is far more than just a genre of music, and if you are reading this... chances are, you know it too. If there's a sound, there can be music... if there is music there is dancing and the world will keep spinning as long as we keep stomping.

Taking his name from a demon-defeating dance in Aldous Huxley’s utopian novel Island, Rakshasi Hornpipe is a New York based DJ, raised on Technics & 12” vinyl in the late '90s. With a decade plus of mixing in & out of various EDM genres, from progressive breaks to atmospheric drum & bass, his mixing is tight & smooth, using harmonics & long blends. In 2008, Rakshasi Hornpipe stumbled into the world of psychedelic trance, reignited his passion for dance music, melted down the vinyl, & started traveling a little lighter. Producer and DJ Luis Campos has launched a professional music career at the age of 14 in his childhood home Sao Paulo, Brazil. A small collection of records was his first inspiration to pick up his first set of Technics turntables. Throughout the first decade of his career he held residencies at some of the country’s most revered clubs, including Sao Paulo's Limelight, Victoria Pub, New QG, Gitana among others. Luis's talents were also showcased at Brazil’s most prestigious music festivals such as Skol Beats and the Love Parade attended by nearly 200,000 people.
In the late 90s, Luis founded one of the first Brazil's live electronic band, Influx. At the release of MTV's first Amp album, Influx performed for over 30,000 people. It was one of the most memorable performances the band had experienced. Their track entitled "Crack" soon became an MTV favorite, gaining Influx popularity, which spread throughout Brazil, Europe, and North America.
Beginning his international career in 2000 Luis had the opportunity to tour across America including Florida (Miami WMC), Massachusetts, New Jersey, California and New York. Luis has played at internationally acclaimed night clubs such as Love, Exit, Twilo, Spirit, Life, World, B.E.D including the DJ MAG world’s top 100 clubs Cielo, Pacha and Sullivan Room, where he currently holds a 3 year residency. In New York Luis founded Psycheground, a multi genre underground party that is going to its 7th year of success with more than 100 events. It has become a beacon for the underground electronic music scene of NYC.
In 2008 Luis Campos joined forces with Matyas Kelemen to form the Reality Engine project. A one of a kind dance music driven project that creates an articulate blend of original music production, synchronized videos, and holographic projections.

Izzy is a New York City based DJ who has performed numerous events lifting crowds off their behinds to find their way stomping on the dancefloor to fresh psychedelic beats. Shortly after attending his first psytrance festival in 2009 he found himself behind a pair CDJs, beat matching his short collection of tunes in no time. After throwing a mind-blowing set at Luis Campos’s Psycheground in the end of 2010, he found his schedule flooded with gigs almost every weekend, leading him to join Rob’s Radial Engine Tribe and Sebastian’s Paradigm Shift. Only after a year of DJing, Izzy’s potential was immediately recognized, leading him to join Daksinamurti Till’s and Emile Gata Freak’s new sub-label Sangoma Records.
Since the beginning of his DJ career, Izzy has shared the room with some of the most well known Psytrance artists across the globe. Besides playing countless events in NYC, he has torn up dance floors in Israel, Boston, the Arizona dessert and a quite a few shindigs in Albany. He is currently working on his first compilation together with his dear friend DJ Michael Cosinus of Switzerland, VA Ironic Creatures, bringing a taste of some of his favorite producers from all over the world. His sets consist of carefully chosen psychedelic beats ranging from 135 BPM all the way up to 150 BPM. He is very keen on playing the appropriate music for the right time and place. Knobi has been involved in the music scene since the early 90's, when he discovered the art of psychoacoustics & the sound of electronic music. In the late 90's he started to play psytrance along side of the very founders of the genre itself. Not limited to being in various live bands at the same time also.
Knobi's sound will shift and take your mind for a race. No one comes close to his style of mixing, which has been called by many "the live mix" as he mixes new tracks every three to four minutes without you ever noticing, that way keeping you on the dance floor for hours at the time.

Better known as Mistress Jade, Dryad is the darker, more psychedelic persona of Maja Gaia, currently based out of Syracuse, New York. DJing under the name Mistress Jade since 2004, her sound has evolved over the years as she became enchanted by darker, techier, and atmospheric sounds.
Her sets can best be described as both driving and ethereal, organic yet futuristic. She views DJing as storytelling and loves to take audiences on a journey through the lands of mystical forests and ancient folklore, sharing her favorite tales through the dark organic sounds of forest psychedelic trance.
While she continues to play other genres, from drum 'n' bass to progressive house under her original name, Dryad is dedicated to the psychedelic sounds in which her heart lies.

As early as 16, he had started to produce music on fruityloops and would occasionally spin vinyl Trancecore and Gabber at underground raves. When the Gabber scene died in 2000 he, continued to spin privately for fun, but no longer at parties. He then started to make IDM, Braindance, and Experimental music and took a break in 2005 to pursue his visual arts career. In 2009, during the Seed Gallery parties, Redeemer started to spin again, this time on CDJ's and returned to his old hobby of producing tracks only this time using Reason.
Thru his tripadelic sounds, Redeemer attempts to infuse a chain reaction on the minds of the audiences, inducing a transcendence so powerful, that when one tunes in, he/she quantum leaps dramatically to a higher level of consciousness. Intoxicated with sound, Felipe Linares heard the irresistible call of a siren beckoning him toward a life of music at an early age. Once a guitar player in a hard-core band, Felipe's passion transformed overnight--the night he attended his first psytrance party. His entire focus was then immediately devoted to psytrance which set Felipe on a new path in life, a path that took him from São Paulo to New York where he was soon hypnotizing the crowd with a powerful melodic set mixed to perfection at his first Psycheground party.
Felipe has since delivered impressive performances at many of the most prestigious events on the East Coast including SubCulture, Pulp, tekno*feel*ya, Sync, Pex Festival as well as Universo Paralello in Brazil.
Felipe now resides in New York City where he is a resident artist at Psycheground in addition to designing sound systems for parties and clubs and pursuing a degree in Audio Engineering. Always immersed in music, Felipe spends the rest of his time developing his talents in the studio and is in the process of producing his first release.

Just purchased tickets.
Any hotels near the event? Or do we just sleep at the rave for three days? lol whats the nearest airport to the event? I've got tuns of questions.
