Dear Psytrance community we are Steffie and Freddy from Marburg, Germany, students of comparative studies of culture and religions. Having enjoyed Psytrance for quite a while, we decided to take our interest to another level and make a little research on psychedelic lifestyle which will be presented to a small group of students in January.
Since Isratrance.com is one of the biggest forums within the scene all over the world, we wanted to ask you kindly to please help us to find a definition for psychedelic.
what is psychedelic, what does it mean to each of you and why do you live it?

psychedelic in the esoteric sense is unity...unity is what everything begins with...the one source, god-phenomenon etc. psychedelic is the interaction of the pre-conditioned mind, the one bound by societal ways of living, good vs bad etc with the unity or wholeness. Psychedelic drugs or otherwise gives you feeling of oneness with the quantum that rests above and beyond normal senses, this oneness is experienced by interactivity which some refer to as "trip" which is actually is the same sensation a plant experiences when it blooms flower..
