Heh, I am kinda tempted to sell mine for $$$ and then get the reprinted one. But that would make me one of those people I hate so much...
On the other hand, it's the lunatic fans who pay so much voluntary not the seller who starts with 1$, eh?
Well, the crazy prices for the em:t catalogue sure is the top reason that label is known, so I guess it's all a bit of free publicity for Ultimae.

Yeah they are. I've given in to nostalgia a few times and paid quite a bit for some old Em:t stuff. Sad part is that (IMHO) a lot of it just doesn't sound as good as it did ten years ago. Hype, nostalgia, and collector mentality = $$$$$$ |

Just keep in mind that you probably would not want to spend more than the normal price for a re-issue. And that in that case the money would actually go to the people who made it.
Don't let money-greedy lunatics force you into so much paying money. Imagine how incredibly thankful the artists themselves would be, if you send them 100$. You could get a CD with handmade artwork, love and personal letter for that, I bet. And wouldn't that feel a million times more satisfying than "owning some plastic"?

Hello!
Hope all is wlel for you.
So, after several discussions with some manufacturers, we are able to officially confirm, that Ultimae will reprint all its sold out references (except the limited editions Aftermath and Extended). So in other words, we are launching first HUVA NETWORK - Distances today with our new Partner. All the rest of the catalogue will be reborn physically between end of October and December, so around 14 references on the way. Happy? |
