Shakta - Feed The Flame (Dragonfly)
even limited edition with second special cd dont deserve any attention .. maybe worse Seb`s album ..nothin interestin there at all

i dont like most of proggy section stuff .. but ' englishtened ape ' is brilliant album .. both 1st and 2nd albums r psy jems .. 3rd and 'feed the flame ' both same prog hm shit |

I have no idea what you're saying? If you wan't to talk about Shakta in general go to the DJs & Artists forum, or if you want to talk about the individual albums go their threads or open new ones. This is the "request a review" topic - please stick to that!

I know I'm a little late in replying to this thread, but just wanted to say that personally, it's not fun or enjoyable to write about a release that you do not like. When I write cd reviews I listen to each track at least 4 or 5 times through, something I'm certainly not going to do for a release I don't like. Also, if I listen to the samples on psyshop and don't like it, I'm not going to buy it, and therefore won't have the cd to be able to write the review. If I don't like a particular track on a cd, I will say that in my review. Likewise, if I like only one track on a cd, I will comment and just say that....

all-bad revues are just as useless as all-good revues. I'd rather have true revues.
Anyway, has anyone heard Orion's soon to be released album? (rel. date is July 4th at an outdoor party here in LA)
I'm dying to know how his new stuff is. I've always loved that he's very original and hope he has kept that. |
