The Ghost copy can save little bit of your time if u want to change all the kicks...

But I think u will have to make a lot of copy/paste anyway... Cause on some breaks, for example, u use other kick/loop instead of regular 4kicks/4beats...

Bottom of the line: maybe Surrender is too lazy! hehehehe.... Only the time he used to write/read/try the things here, he could make the change of all the kicks!

ps: I´m kidding Surrender dude! I´m the laziest person!           LOADING...

I thought it is possible in the Audio Pool. I'm not @ home right now, so i can't check it for you, but my hunch is that if you replace a sample in the audio pool, it will be replaced in every place it is used in the project.

I know my english is really terrible, but I do not see any difficulty here. Please, look again:

"This method works fine if you use Shared copy. But in case you do not use it or if your project have the same sample as a Shared Copy and Real Copy, then go to Pool Window and replace (with the above method) every ocurrency of the old audio sample."

Why this method works fine if you use shared copies? Only because you can start to replace the audio samples directly on the track, double-clicking directly on the audio event. In that case, replacing the audio sample only in one *audio event* will replace every copy of this audio event in every position, in every track! Or in another words, replace every "shared copies". Not using shared copies?! No problem! Open Pool window and start changing directly the original audio sample: every audio event will reflect the changes made here! No mistery!

"Wait!! Audio sample?! Audio event?! Audio clip?! Whata hell!!!"

OK, confused about that terminology? Just read the Cubase help or manual. It explain the diferences between each concept.

Now let's discuss a bit about the "hard work". For "every occurrence" I mean every audio sample *variation* created from the original audio sample. Thinking for example in a kick, how much variations will be found in a track? Five, ten? So, five or ten different audio samples (at least "audio clips") will be found in that track and five or ten replaces need to be made. And doesn't matter the method used for replacing samples: using a sampler like Battery or Halion and replacing the samples loaded in that sampler, replacing the disk files, ctrl+c/ctrl+v on the audio event or even a future builtin Cubase function to replace files, in any case you need to replace each and every audio sample variation. Simply there's no magical solution here.
