Hello everybody !

I am searching for a certain repetitive audio effect.A sample gets repeated but not in steps like you can do it with most glitch/stutter vst´s but rather like a modulation lfo on a synth.
i do this often just using the cubase pitch envelope but the thing is i want it without the pitch!
The user Psylevation did a video tutorial on that but he´s using kontakt for it and i wonder if there´s an easier way to do this fast&clean.

Any ideas?

here´s the link to psylevations tutorial...

Making a drum roll like that?, or what do you mean?.
Either you do it like he does it, or you loop the sample and pitch it in real time.           .

Not sure I understand either.

The thing here is that Cubase only plays one sound at a time from each track. A fast kick roll will overlap, and if you put it in several lanes the first lane will get a priority and so forth. And making many tracks for each instrument is often way too time consuming, so if you have a drum unit you will be able to do this easier.
