how many of you use this software?
I must admitt I train hard to learn the shortcuts and synthesis with its given tools, it fucking amazing way of making music uncomparable with each other daw, that makes it unique. Love it.           https://soundcloud.com/shivagarden

If I remember correctly, Mudpeople uses Renoise.

P.S. Merry Christmas.

Anybody else uses Version 3.0 ? I must say its absolutely wicked love it to the core. New beta version (o.6 ..4 more to the official 3.0 version) is an absolute refreshment of renoise and puts the old one to the realm of the shades.
Still need a bit of time to understandw atleast 10% what lunatics like Venetian Snares can do with all this codes, but it develops fast and is big fun like I havent had ages on usual DAWs
Still Protools, Cubase and Logic are absolutely essential for any kind of proffesional audio engineering, espescially recordings, but renoise is the master of fun, and somehow the audio engine sounds best in my ears.
hey Coon how are you? Long time no see here. Thanks for your input. I thaought Mudpeople would hit this trhead and write something tbh but seems like a lot of people don't visit that page too often these times.

hey at the beginning it's a bit confusing maybe but once you get into it is one huge fast flight you can make a tune a few minutes that usual daws needs maybe a month. No joke. A complex pattern of 128 bars can be made in a minute or less. Shortcut massacre but you get use to it. I'm sure there is potential to create a differrent kind of psytrance when using this sequencer wisely..
Here a nice vid I found by one that uses Renoise exclusively, at all stages. Not many psytrance producers so far.I bet it's more a chance to create something different.
There is a nice story on the renoise forums of a guy that met anohter guy showing him a complex drum and bass track that was produced about a half year, the other guy(renoiser) showed him tones of tracks and each was atleast as complex as the one from that half year ableton killer d'n'b track-producer. He was saying to him that he sometimes produces 2 tracks a day like this
which is clear when you understand renoise.

You could make crazy things with this on psytrance for sure.

check also about 0:34 crazy complex..this skills on psy could be awesome with anything leads pads whatever squelches

Renoise plus PureData are two entirely different ways to approach synthesis and I definitely want to delve into their intricacies... as soon as I 'm done with a few ongoing projects!           --- open the doors and let the music flood in ---

renoise is fun. You can make complex patterns on the run. This one I done in maybe 20 minutes. I used only a few commands, not that complex though.Just 3 tracks though but nice what you can do with drums and how fast.

For psytrance there is certainly lots potential too. Working now on something.
