i use cubase sx. i turn stylus as usual, load it in a midi track and push play on the vst , so it plays along with the other parts. now i want to render it on to an audio track. i solo the midi track and export on to audio mix, but nothing appears rendered. i guess there is a button or something i dont know in the vst as there is in dr. rex, but i cant find the way.
thanx for ur help.

Hello Pixan , do you also lay down a midi line in the pianoroll ? or do you plan on trigger it without ?
If i understand rght , you have to do like with normal vstis , assign them to the in and outs , and then make a box in the seq, remember to have the stylus rmx set to groove control if u want the loop function , normally sounds starts at C3 , and then move upwards .

in the stylus sample browser window is a small blue window that states the name of the selected loop.this is the midi file of the loop drag and drop that name in the sequencer window it will automaticaly create a midi loop just connect this with stylus and then export.
pressing play in stylus is only for preview purposes!

open a midi track, and assign it to Stylus RMX, do not forget to set RMX to groove instead of slice, in the menu bottom right i think.
Draw a line of midi on the note that triggers the sound you want, play that sequence it should work, if it does not check maybe it is in slice mode...
Loop the midi bar, and mixdown to audio. RMX has a nice reverb and delay built in, i tend to add a tiny bit of reverb in RMX before i mixdown for some percs...
