Hello.

I'm just wondering, when would it do me some good to render my tracks with the 32bit depth option? What's the difference between the 0.24 and 16.8 options?

the 16.8 want load in cubase etc.

the 32bit depth is when u use 24bit or higher depth samples or u want the full 32bit potential of ur vsti synths to be exported for mastering without using the 16bit option that needs dithering when using 32bit samples!

unfortunately 24bit isnt supported in fl so 32bit is 1 way!

Um, so what would that 32bit potential of VST synths be in practice? I have some clue but would appreciate some clarification.

synths engine are usualy 32bit so its not that difficult to understand that exporting in 32bit is the best for quality! ofcourse that doesnt mean that 16 bit is bad!

Orange, I was looking for the _specifics_ of the issue. Yea, most likely 32bit would be better in some manner, but in what way? Where would I exactly be looking at the difference?

Aukikco,
look at it as finer resolution.
For further editing after the rendering, the process is more accurate.

I'm almost sure the bit depth in Fruityloops is 32 bit float though.           Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...
