Removing anything except vocals

I have a song (by Michael Jackson) and I want to remove all the parts (means drum loops,synth lead and some other synth sounds).
What's the best way to remove all those parts and leave the vocals?
And, would it work?

If you have a wave file,this is very dificult,and it´s impossible remove the objects of the song,you can only disfarce them.
If you have the song in midi file,this is very easy,because you open it in logic,and you remove all the objects less the vocals! |

i dont know shit about producing but eq the vocals clear u cant offcourse. its whole mid area include more than only vocals in it, and u also distort the mid by cuting high and low eq's. if i underatnd its right no way cut vocal from wav file.
no helpful tips here

I tried everything, it still doesn't work.
My friend has a theoretical idea that sounds pretty logical:
If we take a karoke version of the song and the song itself, and remove the karoke version from both files, then we could get the vocals only (meaning karoke+vocals-karoke=vocals).
Could it work? |

It could work...... Phase inversion 4 who dont know we r talkiong about)
But..... to do it, the karaoke version of the song mush be exactly the same as the one with the vocals, or else it wont work.... you also have to, precisely "sync" the two parts you want to cancel out......., give it a try, and see what happens, go on, dont be a chicken! just do it!
