is there any software to remove vocals from existing track? or at least lower the vocals ?

There's a proggy called Yogen vocal remover. It works like shit, though.
The priniciple in removing vocals is playing a certain mono channel in inverted phase on the other channel, making the vocal part, or any mono part, dissapear.
Therefore, this method (which is the only method in vocal removing AFAIK) is applicable for specific song only, is which the vocal is in mono.

AnalogX makes a voalremover prog... not sure how good it works, nevber used it. Look on AG you can find alot of instrumentals. worse come to worse, get on a mail order, find the vynil, almost everything have an instrumental version.

well, i tried the yogen remover, and it gives a great screw to the music... but thanks alot anyway.
i'll check the analog x thing!

the analog x vocal remover is really good, it still leaves some fx from the vocals, but at least there's not any phase invertion ... thanks ! |
