Hi

when artists remix other artists track, is it because they think that they can present the the track in a better way?

There are some remixes that actually saved the tracks from oblivion.
np: Everything But The Girl - Missing (Tod Terry Remix)

There are also some remixes that don't pay tribute to the original and try to pose as originals. See Logic Bomb Neighbour of the beast that is a remix of X-Dream's Panic in Paradise. Although I love Logic Bomb, this is lame.

UIU, I'm not sure about that you're saying about Logic Bomb...you might be right, but I don't think so....

Logic Bomb had a classic old tune, that was like their first "bit hit" called "Shadow of the Beast", an amazing tune, still one my of favorite tunes to date.

"Neighbour of the Beast" is like the 'second episode' of that track....like a more mature older brother

I'm now curious about that Panic in Paradise track you said, but listen to both tracks I just told, and you'll see what I mean, its very obvious the second one is a continuation of the story of first one, made years after, very inteligent stuff imo
