Hi guys im curious how does remixing a track occurs.
I mean when u use the same sequencer as the other artist??
And when the sequencers are different??
Another thing it is bothering me, is that im almost finished with a track now, and i'll have to buy a HD just for music production, so i would like to transfer the whole song to the other drive, how do i do that?
Thanks

hi Safa !
Rmx:
You just get the wave-files of that other artist´s track, ..Samples, may be presets, midi files..
he may be gives u his whole track but u will need all these plug-ins he used there...
I remixed 2 tracks now and just got these wave files,..
transfer the whole song to the other drive:
If u work with cubase, u have a projekt folder.. you can copy this folder and transfer it....But before be sure that all samples of the song are in this folder....
sorry my english is bad today hope it helped

In 99% of the cases you get the wave files/individual tracks of the original song and that's all(you need).
A friend told me once that the biggest mistake we make is that we believe we live, when in reality we are sleeping in the waiting room of life. |
