i don't know the original version, i haven't heard to it yet but this remix it's very nice! i like your bassline a lot, very fluid like its suppose to be!
nice construction also!! 
keep working good, i hope to hear more from you guys in the future!

the bass is sampled from the logic`s synth ESM.
edit and re-EQ on cubase sx2.

I really like this track!!
Most of the time, psytrance-remixes of pop, rock, ... songs sound like easy, "one night work" tracks. But I like this one, it's more intelligent and you really kept the atmosphere of the original track! Which I think is really difficult...
Also the built-up and breaks are very "chemical brothers".
The production too is of a high quality, though I didn't like some synths.
But the track just rocks!
You did a great job here ;-)
