Hi there...
I wanna make a remix of a track...
can I just do it with sound or do I need the cubase (or whatever) file to do it?

any tips?

You can do a real remix if you have the same program that the original artist made with.

or u can made your own trak with samples from the one u want to remix...

thanks guys that's what I imagined...
the remix I wanna do is pretty simple...
the track:
Fungus Funk - Duck
it start with  a cool duck sample, but it takes too much time for the bass line to start I want to make it more agressive cutting the crap out after the cool sample.. I want the sample then I want the bassline to start right away after the duck's voice distorts...
do you guys got it?
Do you think the artist will have a problem with that? if so, anyone knows Fungus Funk email?
