Each and every track here just doesn't add up. Why does an artist like Zen Mechanics put his faith in the hands of artist that cant hold a matchstick to the level of ZM? I expected so much more from this album with likes of ace ventura , loud, burn n noise and company. Its really a waste if the remix doesn't add value to what the artist has already created , why go ahead create a hash of it. The remixes just reek of unoriginality and lack of ownership. Common guys if you're remixing one of the best full on albums ever , you have to go the extra mile , not half-heartedly deliver mediocre content. tsk tsk
The only positive part is that this endeavor makes the original shine in platinum.
Thanks guys for making me love holy cities that much more.
Whats your opinion of remixes that completely spoil the original track? does it make you feel bad or just ignore the bad taste in your mouth and play the original again?

i dont like most of tracks too, but dickster and burn in noise make the compilation worth it, in a way |

Some remixes are good some are.. meahhh..playing the original is better. Matter of Taste
But this Zen Mechanics Rmx actually had some awful remixes. If musically i compare the original then i kind of understand your sentiment.
Dickster RMX though is good. But not worthy for the whole Cd.

But not easy to find a good original album which is not nicely remixed. Then again there are bad and good remixes, its just a matter of taste.

I just previewed these tracks, are they really that bad? I don't hear this kind of stuff anymore but I'm pretty sure Saikosounds is filled to the brim with stuff that is much worse than those remixes.

It's just when I see names like Zen Mechanics, Headroom, Earthling...
I don't usually associate them with completely boring crap.

dammit, i was just watchin the Remix album and this thread appear...n__n... Only Dickster and Liftshift Remixes are Cool, the others are Really sooooooOoOoo Boring... in my opinion...
i kindda share the same opinion as Exotic, kindda shame to see some fluffy remixes to one of the Best producers in the Escene...
