My CD of Simplicity was pretty worn out, so i thought the best way to remember & pay my respect to him was by ordering it again. It came yesterday.

good idea, same with mine, it is worn out. I thought I'd share this story with you all, because I believe Cosma saved my life.
So I saw Cosma live in Switzerland maybe one month before his death. I was going completely nuts on the dancefloor (one of the only ones unfortunately) and during the last track of the set (it was yok yok) and during the break when the voice goes "you're here for one reason and one reason only... that's to WORK!" I went nuts and he looked up from his machines and gave me the thumbs up with a huge smile. so that was my moment with this genius.
About a year ago, I got in a pretty bad car wreck with some friends- the breaks gave up on us while speeding in small streets. We would have all died for sure if we had hit a wall/ poll straight on but we ended sliding on the side for about 100m. I had my cd case in the car and upon flipping the car over, there was only one cd that had left the case (out of more than 100) and was left in the middle of the road- you guessed it, it was simplicity by Cosma... to this day I always think (and i am not superstitious nor do i believe in the surnatural) that maybe Cosma may have helped me from up above...
Anyhow, that's my story and Cosma is my savior... |
