So i'm reinstaling my laptop and so theres goes another Cubase reinstall, so my question is how do u guys have all your insert effects by manufactor, mainly the steinberg ones?

don`t get your question, what do you mean by have all your inserts?
you mean in wich folder?

I was at work, maybe i didn't explain well, so u add and audio track, and u go to inserts and on the drop down menu u have all your inserts, let's say the Fab one's, and they are all inside a folder called FAB Filter, but with the Steinberg that doesn't happen, there's " Dynamics folder" and "Distortion Folder" and so on, what i wanted was that those Steinberg one's were a part of the "Steinberg Folder" and then "Distortion" or "EQ", i think its possible because once i opened ann Andi Vax cubase file and they all became like that.
Dunno if i explained myself right.

go to vst plugins folder and create new folder there name it steinberg, and move your steinberg plugs into it. Hope that helps |

Yap already done that but only some go into that folder, in cubase 5 instalation some Steinberg plugs are placed in a diferent vst folder, thought it was a thing most of the people knew about , if it is a difficult thing, nevermind let it be has it is

next time don't install vst plugins into your steinberg folder
and you will never have this problem.
after you reinstall you can easy to show steinberg the vst folder. -------------------------------------------------

go check cubase preferences, in vst there is an option, list all vst plugins by company name or smth like that..then all plugins get sorted, even no need to put them into extra Fab Filter folders, cubase does all that on its own..
