both of them are psy artists that have some progressive and techno touch but sure not progressive and not techno that what clown meant but who cares ? |

Well, why don't you do like some DJs are doing nowadays?...buying techno tracks.@Just yesterday I was taking a look at a 12 tracks cd mixed by Mondo Grosso, and let me tell you, some tracks are just what I would dance happily to. Techno indeed is revitalizing itself, leaving behind the industrious thing that made it a little boring in recent years and it's sounding good, carrying good vibe like some trance tracks do. I say this because most clubs I go dancing they are playing more and more techno instead of trance, psy or cyber.
Step outside a little beyond the trance border and you will see that there are other sounds out there, some better than our loved trance.

thats just not all tech trance should sounds midi miliz.. years before for me tech trance was a Funf D project of Kohlbecker with wonderfull albums on Spirit Zone and Eargear..

Yeah the music style definition in electronic music is useless , because every one define diffferent way same thing ...........
Techno Trance or better to say Psychedelic Techno for me is Post Psy artists that making/trying to make Techno : Midi Miliz , Authentik , The Delta ...........
why trying ? because it not sound mainstream or underground of real techno music , it sound psychedelic ... pretty different one with something which remind techno . some tracks are realy techno ones like Aeromode of Midi Miliz last The Passages album .............
Midi Miliz is mixture between progressive and psychedelic tech but not trance .....
The artists you list here Zombi more fit the Tech Trance definition that Midi Miliz or The Delta , but X-Dream last album Irritant was Tech Trance for sure ....
now all music is mixture of different styles , even Skazi have techno things in his mainstream drilling fullon so it is realy useless to argue about styles.......

Techno is loopy and repetitive, i don't think Midi Miliz is trying to make techno.. i think artists like them are trying to convert trance to techno.. blending in the best of the two.. They have phat trances and technoid sounds.. even some electro sounds these days..
to me, they make the most refreshing techtrance around.. better than delta, better than x-dream, opsis, triac, platform.. ALL of them.. they are simply GODs at work.. however, the Spirallianz project is more inclined towards tranceish.. so some times it is hard to pinpoint a style..
