This is exactly how I recieved this email. I didn't add nor remove any labels.

After checking laburn.com , you are right and it must have been their innocent mistake that I will correct           Live for the journey, not the destination.

I got there saturday night and left sunday afternoon so didn't catch the whole thing but here's what I did get.

I was told Psychobeat had gotten hold of some very powerful sonic ingredients from an elf like creature and was going to concoct a potion to bend the minds and bodies of everyone it touched. At 3am the spell was cast and what poured out of the speakers made it's way to our heads and bodies and before long there was nothing left of the 'party'. There were no people. no dancefloor. What was left resembled a moonscape littered with random glowing beings. some wriggling on the ground like giant slugs, some resembling mutant bats feeding on what used to be a speaker stack.
We were reduced to nothing but everything. Trust the elf.

In the morning, a rabbi (I realized later it was Jon Mark) was spinning some celebration music and the dance floor was back to the psytrance party, as the night became day.

Later, as the heat of the day set in (this is the high desert, gets very hot) some heavy, vodka laden beats emerged from the hands of the one called Johnny Feel Free as he dropped some mementos of the night before, reminding us of the 'other' place we had visited. The last beat died as the generators were killed for the 'moment of silence'

After the perscribed quiet time the first wave of coast guards arrived for reinforcement. Maska at the helm, taking no prisoners just blasting the sonic boom with precision. Preparing the way for the ground troops.

Bodhi is true sounds of the desert. If Kyuss is desert rock, Bohdi is desert trance. middle of a scorching day. no trees. crusty lizard perched on a rock. waves of heat blow with every beat as you feel your mind melt under the sun and your body move with the rhythm. you're feeling a lot like that lizard.

I had to leave and was sorry to miss the rest, but I know it must have been really good. Want to thank the laburn people for setting this up. I think it's a great way to remind us what to expect and be prepared for. And I think the psychedelic trance this year will really be that this year. unlike any other. Be prepared

Beautiful, beautiful...

I was Reflected and LABurnt sunday thru monday. Rich and Green Nun were the first people encountered, followed by Johnny, Maska and Bodhi, Gabriel (without whom...). Wandered around the mesa, just snapping photos and ogling the playa-style fashions.

Then it was time for me to make mischief, bringing the tempo down, up, down and then up again. No one came after me with torches, so I guess it worked.

Ate too much miso that night, heard some incredibly crazy sets. Brian, Adam, Wendy J... got to catch up with Jon Mark a little. Hurt my toe and got attacked by black ants. Wandered again and slept (yeah right!). Next morning Xylafon led us into a labyrinth of darkness, illuminated by stained glass psychedelic colors. Melodic from hell! I really appreciated her industrial touch... full on is nice, but I can only hear so many bouncy basslines.

Left with a few new friends (n8, keep in touch) and a head fulla harmony. Thanks for having me, guys, and I hope to see you at Reflections 2.

man got to tell himself he understand.
