Hi all,
i noticed that my Tannoy reveal (active) don't respond well on the low freq sounds, i was demonstrated with the action of the Tannoy sub that goes with them - all sounds wonderfull..
the Q. is: does it help to use a sub when creating, or does it miss leads you a bit - cause everything sounds reacher and better, so its actually preffered to work with the 2way sys. only?

I once used to work with a sub (not the Tannoy one though) and it was misleading.
I suggest to invest the money you spend on both speakers and sub on speaker with a good low end instead.

don't work with sub bass couse you won't hear the 'real' sound you ment to bring out from your equipmant.
check the F.range of the speakers and post here

they go 60Hz at the lowest.
thing is that if you use low low freq. (like the midimiliz sound for instance) in loud vol. you hear it either distorted or you don't hear sometimes.
sounds that were "hidden" (even when i tried to listen to them with a 12000 shekels genelac monitors..) suddenly came to live with a sub..

The best Hz for monitors are down to 30Hz.
they are usualy europian monitors & usualy from the USA the standart are 60Hz.
