Hi to all!
I hv a question about reeverbs proprties.
I just opened a commum reeverb plugin, the waves trueverb to ask for some infos. I am interested on knowing what some of those settings make to the sound. There are 3 of them that seems to be the "envelope" of the reeverb, sort of it, in trueverb u can turn it on and off, and they are "direct", "early reflections" and "tail".
Then there are other propreties like dimension, room size, distance, balance and so on.. There are a few that i "kind" understand, sometimes using the grafics view to make a "image" of what i want my reeverb to do helps a very little bit but i need some more knowloge, i feel blind when talking about reeberbs.
Can u guys send me some links of some articles that get into this kind info i am looking for? Normally manuals just explain what the feature is but not what it does to the sound.
Like the early reflections.. the name already says what it is, but when should i use it? Are they good 4 what? Long pads? Drum?Should i use them with big or small decays? When i should avoid using them?
Any help is aprecciate! Thanks a LOT! |
