Quantum Biography:
Gidi Snapir has been around since the late ‘80's and his music direction reflects that maturity and experience. Studying piano as a kid, Gidi comes from a family of musicians. He was always obsessed with collecting music and finding new sounds. His first encounter with electronic music was with new wave dark industrial music at the end of the ‘80s.
He discovered trance in ‘91 and got really hooked while traveling through Goa in 1992. In 1994, after collecting a huge mass of trance music, Eitan Mahleb, one of Israel’s first trance DJ’s, asked him to play his music at a party. He agreed and this was the turning point. Electronic music would become his life’s passion and profession.
Since 1994, Gidi has DJ’d extensively in almost every possible spot in Israel and throughout the world. Over the last decade, he performed at festivals and raves as well as small underground parties and was mainly associated with the Hovek Olam project for which he toured worldwide and compiled 2 albums.
Along the way, in 1998, Gidi started Newzeek, the Israeli electronic music magazine (RIP). He has his own weekly radio show - Tranceformator – at the “Kol Hakampus” radio station at Tel Aviv University.
In 2000, Gidi embarked on a journey to fulfill his dream of making his own music. He first collaborated with artists such as Gorlation Corporation, BLT, Alien Project, PPS Project & others, all the while developing his own sound. He soon began assembling his own production studio for electronic music.
He put together several other compilations for respected labels such as USTA & MDMA to name only a few, until he finally got his own Quantum project going. Quantum's first tracks were instantly signed to Cosmophilia's in house label and released last summer in a series of 12" singles and several compilation inclusions. He then signed with BNE who released Quantum’s debut album titled “Outrage” in late 2004. Since then Gidi has acquired worldwide recognition with live shows in Japan, Germany, Mexico & Brazil not to mention touring the length and breadth of Israeli many times over.
These days Gidi has completed a lot of hard work on a 2nd artist album titled “Kiss The Sound”, due for release soon by BNE/YoYo Records. “Kiss The Sound” represents a tighter & much more focused production as would be expected from a veteran like Gidi. The music will rock every dance floor, from the smallest, underground 200 people forest party to the biggest raves.
Gidi collaborates in “Kiss The Sound” with two acts – check out “Push Me Up” with Mister Timelock Felix, and E-Ject. The last bonus track is a pumping remix to Timelock’s “Skylines”…

Redax Mental BIO:
REDAX MENTAL (Tilen Beznik) is a 22 year old PunkoPsyAnarchist from Slovenia. Active in Slovenian music scene since 2000 Redax Mental has worked in every aspect of it.
He started out as a DJ, but soon moved on to production and later organising several events in and around his homeland, Slovenia.
After spending some time in the group OPTIMAL ORDER, Redax decided that he could find himself more in PsyTrance. Leaving the group to embark on a solo carreer, Redax Mental's name soon grew stronger in the Slovenian psyscene. But it wasn't enough for him, and after setting up connections across the border, Redax decided to work together with various people on a number of projects in all aspects of electronic music. He already spinned with ( Just to name some of them ): D-tek, Space Cat, Mekkanikka, Naked Tourist, Fungus Funk, Kindzadza, X-Dream, Azax Syndrom, Digital Talk, Etnica, IM, Time Lock, Rinkadink, Lani, Astrix, Atomic Pulse…and many many other various respectfull LIVE ACTs and DJs from all over the world and on differente festivals ( just some of them ): SOULCLIPSE FESTIVAL- Turkey 2006, Digital war Festival, Malta, PsyTronic Frequency – Italy, Mount le famme - France, Clockwork oranges LIVE Feat. Redax Mental - Serbia & Monte Negro, Plutonic Records label night - Kosovo, Croatia..and many others / Thos festivals & parties really touched him so he wanted to mention them!
In 2005 he started a project with Breto ( Kosovo guy )! They have started their own label called PLUTONIC RECORDINGS! Label will be based on releasing night full on to dark soundz! Their first VA will be out in the middle of 2006 with various respectfull artists from this genre!
REDAX MENTALs style is preety various; from him u may hear everything.. from hard groove full on to dark psy trance! So prepare yourself on undiscovered act and expect the unexpected.
