this party in redhill informal settlement was held as a free party asking for donations for the settlment.
It was small, and hard to find with not much parking. But really nice place to hold a party. It reminded me of how much work we need to do to sort out the socio-economic structures in this place. There was a lot of strange vibes reminding me of how much the ppl of this country live on handouts and have very little or no access to information and education. This is also contrasted by an upper class of people who have little or no feeling or compassion for the broad suffering of our ppl. This party was a great chance to face up to these issues but still I was frustrated by a feeling of social akwardness and no clear leadership or social structure.
I just wanted to ask were any of you there? I left just after dawn so I don't know what sunday was like but I am sure it was a good vibe.
I am sure more partys like this are the way to go. It seems nice for ppl from other country's and I am sure it could be done on a larger scale.
