Ok, first let me say that I'm an aspiring trance producer. And what I'm about to say will probably get me flammed to hell but here it goes...

I've noticed in many trance pieces, mostly full-on from all countries, that the same samples get reused, sometimes heavily laden with effects so as to hide their origin but noticeable to anybody with an ear for such things. I've also noticed several of theses samples in movies and sometimes in osts.

Now I was wondering, are there any holy grail sample cds which every aspiring full-on producers has? Not that I want to procure them myself since full-on isn't for me, but I won't lie that I'm interested in hearing the raw untouched waveform, and seeing how different artists/producers make them their own.

I doubt any artists will answer my post, as to admitting to making use of foreign sound sources will take away some of your glory ("all my sounds come from me and my reaktor"), but if you can, please I would like your recommendations of good sample/fx libraries for making trance. I'm especially interested in finding that ONE cd (if it exists) that I keep hearing in so many tracks.

If people want me to go into detail about which tracks/artists/movies with the time index by which I'm making my case, I can post if needed.

there are some cd's often used by some artist.,
(dunno which they are exactly)

also, some artists like to travel and cooperate with others.,

also, sometimes people share an interesting collection of samples that inspire a lot of people.,

i think those are the top 3 reasons you hear some samples a lot.,

also, not only sharing of samples but sharing of synths presets (or using the out-of-the-box sounds) is often happening., so there is a lot of stuff to copy

i also think that most artists are honest about where they take their stuff from., most of the time.,. ,i think., umm.,

greets.,
