Hi Guys,
I am trying to re-create classic goa trance synths like the examples provided here ::::
I have tried gating, arps, delays (aux, sends, and directly on VST) - I am looking for the actual methods that the producers used originally or ways to recreate the same effects and sounds in Live.
I have noticed the goa I like uses plenty of delay. But the delays sound like the feedback is low or somehow it works with the song.
How are the delays done? on a send with all the synths sending to that one delay so it is cleaner?
-what kind of delay? rhythm settings? feedback?
How can I make these types of swirling, arpeggiated, atmospheric sounds?

For the 4th example (Astral Projection - Tryptomine Dream) I actually asked Astral Projection how they created this sound and recieved this reply :::
"we made the sound at the beggining of "Tryptomine Dream" like this:
Roland juno 106 !!!
you have to press the POLY 1& 2 TOGETHER!!!
then ADD
DG ANALOG synth ( if u dont have DG , use the- Roland SH 101 ).
then add Chorus & Flenger & DELAY!!!
this is NOT an arpeggiator seq !!!
you have to wright a SEQ !!!
2 bars.. with full 16 notes ... ( no silence in between notes )
now u know the "Tryptomine Dream" Astral Projection Secret "
I tried recreating this in Live using Sylenth and Live Effects but to no avail. Any suggestions?
