Best way is to record it to a computer using a good sound-card (not that sound blaster shit, it adds a great deal of noise). Then you can burn it.

hello Iggy , it can be done :

get a mixer with a phone line-in (amplified line in) and connect the Vinyl to this input.
connect the master output of the mixer to the line-in (input) of the Sound card.

now all you gotta do is to find a software that can record (Sound Forge , etc.) and do your thingy.

iggy, the 1st thing you need is a good record player (i.e. pro/semi-pro turntable)
then u need a good audio card to record the music into the computer.
then u maybe need a software noise-cleaner
(u can do this with Waves' Restoration Tools)

good luck.

first of all u need to check some things:

1.turntabele/md/etc...

2.amplifier (if its about vynils)

3.an adaptor for rca-pl

then look for the line in in your sound card.

sf is great for live recording!

good luck!           ***dread controls***

OK, ignore the other thread, I just found this one

so exactly how much sound quality can be lost if your mixer is not of the best quality? Is there much difference in the RCAs & phono inputs for different mixers? Would it be worth the effort, say, to borrow my friend's DJM600 instead of using my crappy old Numard DXM2000 or whatever the fuck it is?           new Hadal Drop album on the way

if you don't have the last one get in touch
