I want to copy all my vinyl stuff onto CD so I can DJ when I'm travelling.
What would be the best way to go about this?

I'm wondering this as well

I'm intending on running the turntable through a mixer & into the back of my soundcard, as I understand the raw output from the turntable needs to be amplified

is this correct?

also, if the mixer I'm using is of low quality, will this have drastic effects on the sound quality?
