hey,
i have a behringer bcd3000 connectec to a standard mac book (core duo 2 ghz 2 gb ram)
i run traktor and record off audacity
ok so this is a bit of a noob question, but in my attempts to avoid red lining on traktor i normally pull the gains down until the output stays just under red
i went ahead and recorded a mix and upon playback i feel that its a bit too soft ...
basically any suggestions for the future - do i continue to avoid the red line? if so how can i make sure that the overall output isnt too soft?
ill try and post a sample of what i ended up recording exported in 192 kbps
additionally any tools i can use to make sure that i have relatively steady volume levels?
many thanks!
