Recording problem!!!

I don't understand this, can someone help?
I am sending audio signal out of my synth
to the Mixer and from then to Aux-input!
The computer recieves the audio but when I
record he cannot record it!
In sound forge I press the record button but
nothing moves!
Why???

you need to set the record source of the soundcard to Auxilery input..
p.s What soundcard do you use??
if your soundforge is set to bigger resolution (bitrate)
than you can handle you won't be able to record as well

discribe the complete audio path of the synth's sound from the synth to the pc...
and don't forget to tell us what card is it.
BTW:
mc505 is not a synth... it's a groovebox
(unless u use a synth indeed)

Mc505 using the uniqe ROMplayer system from Roland. 
That's why people call it rompler.

First, I fixed the problem.
I don't know why you think meant my MC-505 because I meant my NordLead1!
That doesn't metter anymore because I fixed
this problem!
P.s
You stupid guys, MC-505 is a groovebox!
With 512 sound and inputs for samplers and
a memory sound bank card!

Hey Modulization,
who is stupid? C3PO and me were talking about the electronic technique that is used to produce the sounds. Nothing else.
For shure: 'Groovebox' is printed on the case. That's absulute right. But we made one step more than reading what's imprinted.
Because the imprint is not important. But the electronic that is used is important.
And we did NOT say that a rompler is bad.
Can U give us a technical definition of 'Groovebox'?

It's a step sequencer which is making grooves (on samples)!
Plus a several effects and several MIDI options...
I am using it as a drum machine!
and it's a good machine for mixing when I
perform at parties!

Wow ! 512sounds it's a lot , those guys at Roland know how to compress 512 samples to one small ROM chip 
Anyway i like to sample my analoguez to AkaiS3200, that's one of my ways to create new soundz .
btw , 505's arpegiator cool.
