hey, i really want to start recording my own samples to use in my songs. does anyone recommend any particular equipment. i was looking into portable DAT recorders, but i was wondering if there was anything that might fit my situation better. thanks |

If You want to record samples from "extra-computeral" sources, then you need a sound card, and it better be a good one. I recommend Echo's Layla 24. It is a great card, and if you are from Israel, it is sold here by Halilit for about 4200 NIS.
