Hi.
On your qwerty keyboard in the numpad section u have a "*" press that and it will start recording.
or on the transport bar [F2] u have a record button. |

is the volume fader you are seeing in cubase or on your soundcvards rouyting program?
is your mic routed into cubase?
if you plugged your mic into a stereo channel you might be seeing the sound coming into the left channel but set cubase to record only from the right channel.
is the little record button on the specific track pressed (it should be red)?
hope this helps

optik...if ur getting levels on ur audio channel, ur getting signal from ur soundcard into cubase. check input channels just to be sure. then press direct monitoring button to see if sound is coming through into the channel ur recording into. then, next to the direct monitoring button is another button which record enables the track. then try recording. if still not happening, you might have punch in punch out turned on and the left right loop cursors very close together.
let me know. |
