hello wizards!
i was using an ESI juli@ soundcard and it had a virtual patcher
through this,i could connect the MME to the ASIO,as the picture shows,and i could record the loop played in ableton,straight to a cubase audio channel!
that was very convinient and quick,especially for fillers,hats percs etc.
is there any way i could do the same with my new sound card?

edit:i am using sx3 and live 8.2 and saffire pro 14!

Maybe I don`t understand the question, but why not running Ableton as slave in Cubase via Rewire:

hey man,i am running ableton as a slave!exactly as the guy in the video does!but i want to record what is played in ableton.actually i am using ableton as a sampler that plays all the loops synchronized ,if you know what i mean!
