Recording automation on a Virus Ti problem.

Ran into a small issue, hope you guys can help 
I got a Virus Ti (yay!) desktop.
When using it as a plugin (on Logic 8) the virus does not send MIDI data to the sequencer.
If I'm trying to record automations (moving the knobs rather than drawing), the sequencer does not record anything (?!)
Remote Mode does not seem to be very helpful as it's missing important features that are available in normal mode.
Ideas anyone ?
Am I missing something stupid here ???

Read the manual dude.
Okay i'll help you :
Right-click on the parameter you want to automate within the Virus Control plugin (like filter cutoff, etc...), and choose "add parameter to automation. Then write your automation in Logic (i dunno how to do)
you're done. |

In Logic (if this is your DAW) All automation needs to be done on the Ti MIDI channel 1. Arm MIDI 1 even if using say midi/ part 6. Access all automation parameters of any part from the 1st MIDI channel automation lane.
Strange why this is the case but it just is.
