If you use headphones for listening while recording your guitar, you'll get no leakage from the drums..

I'm assuming that you have the Drums on a certain track (Or multiple trax), and the Guitar coming in on an empty channel.
If that is the case, all you really need to do is hit the monitor button on the drum/s track/s and the REC button on the Guitar track. About your routing - All you need to do is select the Input of your Sound Card where the Guitar is plugged into - You might need to make a few changes to your 'VST Connections' (F4 / Devices -> VST Connections) according to how you got your soundcard I/P & O/P setup...
Hope this helps ..

you need to rout the guitar directly to your asio driver. check out what is connected to the asio input.           www.trancelucent.com - www.themistedmuppet.com - www.electrosun.net

ok it doesnt work yet.....
i'll tell you what i did.
I have a track that uses battery as a drum sampler and all i want to do is record a guitar during the playback of the track.
what i did is i pressed the monitor button on the battery channel and pressed the record button on the audio channel i recorded my guitar in.
after pressing F4 i saw that it shows you the bus volume.
This way it wont record the guitar without the drums. I tried creating another asio channel on the scope platform hoping this would solve the probelm but even then i get the drums recording to the left side only.....anybody?.....

well just incase someone will need to know how to fix this problem all you have to do is create another asio destination in the scope sp and route the output of the analouge input to the asio destination....walla....you got seperation.....
