Not many full on vocal tracks in Psy but it is a good thing to know about.

these are very basics and important issues

i may add that it is a good idea to record clean dry signal with no or as little as possible processing (mic - preamp - soundcard preferable, until you have a posh very expansive mixer that colors in a nice way)

what may seem sound good while tracking may later not fit in the final mix

thereofore when i record any vocals i disangage all means like enhancers or eq leaving only a little compressor (1-3 db of GR) and a low-level noise gate to remove the very basic hum or clothes noise if there is any

80 hz HP on mic or preamp is a choise that needs to be done individually in each case
