Hi there ive got a virus b synth and a edirol fa-66. My problem is that when I play the virus straight it sounds warm and analog (i know its digital) but when I record it with the fa-66 its sounds different. Its flatter has less bass and sounds just different. whats causing this, is it the cheap dacs? is there a solution?

cheers good to hear you enjoy
actualy this 2 tracks done in australia (im from israel) on another studio.. hmm.. should i get me krk's? maybe.. or just move back to oz land where its different mood? (well you can guess i actualy like most of them )

p.s i always suspect the difference might come from the difference in the house.. wood vs concrit..

yes i can hear better the difference from 48khz to 44.1khz then 16bit to 24bit...
specialy in recordings , but as well in some vt's...
for live sets the hole higher quality is allready for me worth more then the same tracks on cds.. doing something or not.. i dont care if you play ready mix from dvd with real better quality its allready slightly better then any dj who got all your cds..
