record track with asio 4 all or not ?

I have a question what i like to ask , well i use asio4all and works ok ! i heard some people say , to produce is ok but don't record your track with it ! its sounds also if i use asio4all i lose a bit of my subs , is that my illusion ? tips please and thank you |

Well, the AD / DA converters are physical, on your soundcard. So, for recording all the driver should do is configure the soundcard sampling rate, and obtain the input digital signal from the soundcard's input buffers.
So, I'd say if you configure Asio4All in the same way as your sound card's proprietary driver, the quality should be exactly the same. The performance, however, could differ, because supposedly "the guy's who made the gear know hot to use it best", but in reality this isn't always true (and proprietary drivers by lazy manufacturers are really more prone to errors).
But, to be sure with your setup, you could feed the same signal into the soundcard, and record it separately with both drivers, and compare -> try inverting the phase on one, aligning them so they have the exact same timing, and play them together
