hey guys, ok maybethis has been asked b4 so pleez dnt shoot me if i'm repeating.. but can anyone tell me how i can record audio off a dvd rom? i have one installed into my pc and want to record people talkin n stuff off movies?? do i need a specific software to do this?

I do it this way:
Opening SX. Enabling record on the proper channel.
Opening Real Alternative Media Player.
Finding the spot in the movie i want to record.
Make sure that the volume levels are max.
Hit the record.
Edit.

into mac i use this software :
Audio Hijack pro,,

he connect direct with the DVD reader into your computer.

U can simply launch the DVD player, open soundforge (or wavelab,cooledit etc.) and take recordings.           Bring yourselves into the light

In Soundforge he must have installed Sony Vegas installed, in order to launch & edit movies files. Better use Wavelab.
