Record 4 samples to 1. Audio file [Cubase]

Hey
I have a small problem I have 4 samples(My Perc) that I want to record in 1 audio file. when I try to record on the audio file that i have created there are only a flat line in the audio file I record at
Hope you can help

It should be, provided you set up the i/o properly.
Solo the 4 channels, rout the outputs from the solo channels to the channel input that the files are to be recorded to, then try again. You might have to also solo the channel you are recording to, not sure how that works in Cubase...Or Elads method...

for direct recording you first need to route the channels to a group track, then create some audio tracks and select the input of that audio track to the group track. Hit record and your done..no need to solo anything. Just select the audio track your recording on while recording..
