well there is this record button in fruity loops and its description is given as "main automation" the patter for that is no -10 ...but how do i use this and where do i use this ???

i tried recording but nothing happens ....

help plz and thank you in advance...

the record feature mainly is for recording your actions directly, means press record, press play and start playing with the knobs and everything will be recorded...
no idea how u automate parameters in fruity, i dont work with it (anymore). but jason lyte explained it here : http://forum.isratrance.com/viewtopic.php/topic/13288/forum/2
