Hello everyone.
Being raised in the middle-east and having lived there for a long time, i do have a bit of emotional attachment to all music middle-eastern. I really love the scales, the rhythms, the haunting vocals, the darboukas et al. Hence i'm particularly looking for Psychill with a lot of middle-eastern influences and also a bit of mediterranean.
I know i could find a lot of loungish stuff with such, but i'm looking for more psychill with such influences. So far i could only find stuff like :
Palyrria, Toires (V.A Tranchillizer,Peak)
Toires double CD album from Mahana Bay.
Eat Static - Back to earth
Some stuff from Mauxuam, Irina Mikhailova...
IS there something that i'm really missing out? any recommendations is highly appreciated.....
good day!

Checkout anything on Dakini Records.
Then there's Eastern Spirit, who I like a lot!
You may like Govinda too, though he tends to get a bit gypsy for my tastes, but he's got some amazing tracks.
Beats Antique is another one.
And lastly, maybe Slackbaba's first album: And the Beat Goes OM... |
