Hola amigos! Havent listened so much to trance recently, but just discovered son kite colours and im blown away. Listened extensivly to trance aeons ago, but lately ive been more into psybient, ambient chillout and other genreas. But this album re-awakens my spirit! Is there other similar stuff around i should check out, or even better something else that will rock mee boat??? |

Check out the Kooler album "Open".
It's the solo-project of Seb from Son Kite, but his Son Kite partner Marcus is also joining in on a couple of the tracks on the album. It was released around the same time as "Colours", so it has a somewhat similar sound, although slower, groovier and more tribal house-inspired. DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

The topic-starter requested music similar to Son Kite - Colours, so I agree with Wizack Twizack that Axis Mundi's recommendation/promotion wasn't really relevant as it's a completely different sound.

Axis Mundi's music may not sound like Son Kite's 6 year old release but maybe, just maybe to some, like myself here in the now... 2010, Mr. Mundi's music makes connections just like "colours" did when it was going somewhere in 2004...
Who truly knows what you guys perception is, its apparent that Axis Mundi did follow through by answering the question.. Son Kite is over, any suggestions on something new doing the same old thing? Isn't that what the question is really asking? All Mundi did was offer a new experience that Son kite once offered IMO...

You must have done a lot of drugs to see any sort of connection there.

well when i read the first post again, i notice ur actually right. I somehow first thought the dude was looking for music only simular to son kits more laidback proggresive style, but he also asked for something else who will rock hes socks of so that means it could be anything =)
